Dance

To me dancing is one of the best stress relievers I will ever find. I like how in one dance I can get it all out by making it into power and showing it in my dance and in another I can be graceful because I have just let it go. Dance is one of those things that can never be taken away from me. It is my first love and a love that will Last forever. I think one of the reasons that I want to continue dance forever is that I have put so much effort into it. I will not be able to compete forever but I know one thing. My children will irish dance, they have no say in it.

Gossip girl

I have started watching the tv show gossip girl. It's a very interesting show. It makes me what to go to newm York and see if the people who live there are actually like that. There is a lot of drama that goes on in that show from people sleeping with other peoples boyfriend and rumours and spelled hooking up with other people and scandals involving money and other people. Overall I think it is a good show but a very confusing show with a lot of different plots going on at the same time. I think that it is going to get a lot more confusing.

University

I am extremely excited to go to university next year. I am planning on going to the university of winnipeg for education. I think it will be extremely interesting and fun. I am going to do a teachable major in chemistry and a teachable minor in math. I'm really looking foreword to having that little bit of freedom and getting ready to start the next part of my education. I can't wait for the letters to come out. I really hope il get in.

Eavesdropping

 Caitlin and Kendra 

We went downstairs into the halls and found a group of friends (2 guys and a girl) talking outside a locker. We were there for around 5 minutes listening to there conversation. It was mostly one of the guys and the girl talking to each other.  It was hard because people talk really fast, I also think they kind of knew that we were listening to them. I don't think people speak in full sentences and they cut each other off. The girl talked really quietly and I think it was because the girl was with 2 guys. People also jump all over in the conversation. You can kind of make it broken and have people cutting other people off. As well as having topics change quickly. I think that personality comes through in dialogue through the word  choice a person uses and there tone of voice shows how they are. I also think depending who controls the conversations shows if they are more controlling or not. When to or more people participate in a conversation I think that two people talk more then the rest of the people involved so it is controlled by the more dominant people in the group. I think that people converse differently with there girls friends then they do with their boyfriends and some peoples conversations have absolutely no meaning and are just to hear the sound of their own voice talking. Think in spoken conversation it is a lot easier to get the tone of voice a person has and you can learn a lot more about there personality and how they act around people. I think in written you don't get that one and it is a little harder to understand the tone.

Art

My favourite artist is fabio napolini. I love the way all of his art is about the common theme of love. I think that all his art has very god messages. Such as love is blind or you don't choose who you fall in love with. I first saw his work At a gallary in downtown disney. I fell in love with it and have been following him ever since.

Imagery paragraph

1. I choose this passage because the first think that stuck out to me was "cracking noises at my window" it made me think of the noise go hearing things at my window. So the the auditory part of the paragraph was the first thing that such out to me.

2. I think that visual is the most common type of Imagery in the passage. There are lots of visuals because I think that the author is author is trying to get the reader to imagine and see in your mine what is going on in the scene.

3. I think a "handful of pebbles" is the most effective imagery.i think this is because you can see in your mind what a handful of pebbles looks like as well as you know what it feels like. I think it also helps you to visualize what is hitting the window.

4. I think that it is positive because it does not try to make you think of anything bad or vile. I think that think like hand full of pebbles and cracking house at my window are not negative imagery.

5. I think the emotion the author is trying to recreate is an anxious emotion Or a feeling of suspense because it talks about the main character Jessica sneaking out and you are anxious to find out weather or not she will be caught.

6. I think the purpose of this piece of imagery is to show all the parts of the main character Jessica sneaking off. I think it is also to make the reader feel that feeling of suspense.

Imagery

The robot play ground.

It had been a long time since Jen had been here but she remembered it clearly like it was yesterday. The sweet smell of the fruit from the tree, the sound of the shoes running on metal and the wedgie you got from sliding down the leg. Now her own children were playing on it as she had many years before them. They raced, trying to run fast enough so the wind would go through there hair and they would feel like they were flying. The robot, Jen thought must have been a good robot. Jen sighed  just thinking about how long ago she had played here and how old she was getting. Her back had started to hurt and her knees ached but she was happy. She watched her two girls running, dresses flowing behind them and wondering how they had so much energy. The sun felt hot on her face as she sat there in silence, only hearing the wind and the sound of kids laughing and screaming. Suddenly she heard a noise she had never heard. The loud sound of metal started to clang. The straight leg of the robot started to bend. Kids playing Jumped off screaming and ran to their parents. Jen grabbed her kids and moved back, away from the danger shielding them with her body. The robot stood up blocking the sunlight and looked down.He looked around at all the faces below him. One of her girls, Jessie came out from behind her and went towards him. "I think he's scared" she yelled to everyone. She started to walk towards him. "No! Come back" Jen screamed "Jessie!". Jessie walked towards him slowly. He bent down until both knees were on the ground. Jessie continued to walk towards him slowly, her shoes thwacking the ground. Once close enough he put his hand down and Jessie climbed onto it. It was dead silent, the wind had even stopped. Jessie waved , the robot waved. He then put her on his shoulder. He was friendly.
