Six word memoir 3: Hate

I tried to find a photo of something that I hate that could go with the words. I ended up using a photo of my work schedule because I do hate my job. My six word memoir is about a specific person but it could be applied to many different people that I dislike. And it's not that I dislike a lot of people but there're some people that when they talk i have to summon up all my strength not to tell them to stop talking. So I think that the picture and the words go together because they show things I hate. I choose the font colour red because it is a colour of anger and to me anger and hate go together. I put it in the place I did because it was the only place that would fit.

Six word memoir 4: My future

I took this photo specifically for this six word memoir. It is of the lockers in the school and it fits because I would like to be a teacher after high school. I think that it describes my future job because I would like to be a kindergarten teacher and a big part of teaching kindergarten is telling them to not eat things like glue and crayons. I choose the colour white because it reminded me of chalk on a chalkboard which also goes with teaching. I tried to use the font that's like chalkboard which also works with the teaching.

Six word memoir 7: My past

This picture shows my past well because as a child I was always laying dress up. This is my Marilyn Monroe costume. That's what my mom called. It to me my past is my childhood and this describes everything that I played as a kid. This and house. I used the orange font because I shanked it to Match something in the photo and it matches the orange on the scarf. I just used a period because I wanted it to be made a statement. And I moved the text out of the way because I didn't want to distract from such a beautiful photo.

Six word memoir 6: Growing up

I used this visual because I thought that it shows me when I was young and what I loved. I loved ( And still love) Disney. Disney world is one of my favourite places in the world. Considering I still love Disney it really does show I will never sto growing up. I want to go back to Disney world I think that is the one place where everyone is still a kid. Soi thought that it kind of worked with growing up. I used the colour blue because it goes with the hat. I also choose that font because it reminded my of the Disney font a little.

Six word memoir 8: Love

This six word memoir to me accurately describes all my relationships. My friend Anne told me once that I don't hate anyone I just don't appreciate having them around me. And I don't like anyone I just tolerate people and I tolerate my boyfriend, Daniel the most. I think that is completely true. I choose the photo because it's of me and Daniel and I really like the photo and it shows who I tolerate the most in my life. He's the person I can really be mad at but I can get over it in minutes. I tried to put the the words out of the way of the picture because I want people to be able to see my visual. I also used the colour pink because I think it works when you talk about the topic love. I used just a period because I wasn't to sure how punctuation could have changed it but I like the way it came out with just a period.

Six word memoir 5: Confession

I choose to do my confession by saying I thought toast could fly planes because I had friends that actually convinced me that toast could fly planes. So it was super embarrassing and it wasn't until later that they admitted that they were joking. I choose the visual because I really like the picture and I thought the sky is where planes find so it relates. But it's one of my favourite pictures my mom took of the sunset at our lake. I used the red font because I tried to get it to match the colour of the sunset.

Six word memoir 2: Family

I choose this picture for my six word memoir about family because I think it shows how my family really is: somewhat weird, creative and a little bit out there. This is the potatoes that my mom made for a Christmas dinner. They are really cute and they were delicious. I choose the colours of the two fonts because they go along with the colours of the snowmen. I used thepunctuation of just a period because I wasn't sure how else it colour be taken with other punctuation and I also wanted to be stating it as a fact.

Six word memoir 1: Me

I think this is one of my favourite photos of me dancing. I really like it because it was one of the first photos I got taken in my purple dress. To me this picture sums up the one thing I'm passionate about. Dance is everything to me. I choose this font because I thought it looked pretty and it looked somewhat graceful kind of like dance. I choose the colour of the font because it matches my purple dress. I put the words at the bottom of the photo so it would not cover up my face. I think that the face I'm making in the photo also accurately shows how much I hate having my photo taken by my mom.

The BEST show in the world.

I think the best way to describe my downtime is how I met your mother. This is my favourite show of all time. I don't even know how to describe how good this show is. I really enjoy the humour in the show but I think my favourite part of it are the little life lessons in it. I think this photo perfectly sums up the shows messages and it gives you something to think about. I think my favourite lesson is wait for it because sometimes you just have to wait for good things to come. All in all I think this show is the best show ever and I think it gives you something to include in your own life

What is Irish Dance?

I don't think i could really explain irish dance to you. I could always give you the technical view of irish dance which is a form of dance where dancers who are the same age compete against eachother in specific dances and try to place in the top 3. There are different levels of dancers from beginner, the lowest level. to advanced beginner, then novice, after that prizewinner. You only compete againgst people who are in your age group and level. After prize winnner the is preliminary championship and then the highest, open championship. In open and prelim you only do 3 dances.

Nobody really thinks of dance as a sport but I think one of the best was to describe Irish dance is in Irish dance quote.

"Welcome to our world. Where blisters and sore muscles are given a whole new meaning. Where wearing a wig comes as a second nature. A place where the name "Gavin" corresponds to a god. Where seeing orange legs and rhinestones covered everything is normal. A world where the words sock glue, hornpipe and Oireachtas are used in every sentence. We trying like athletes. We re no strangers to injury, rivals, victory and defeat. We are tough and beautiful. And yes, we kick your ass. Welcome to the world of Irish dance."

I think this quote describes everything that it is part of our world.  I think if people saw what we actually go though and everything we are able to do as irish dancers, they would stop and think I wish I could do that.

Jig

Possibly one of my favourite movies ever. This movie shows the lives of top irish dabcers right before the worlds. Every dancer hopes to go through this one day. its what we all practice for and hope to finally acheive. We spend months training, multiple hours a day for those 5 minutes on stage. These dancers are some of the most acomplished dancers. They are truly inspiring.

Reading survey

I have a couple of favourite authors. All of them have different writing styles though. One of Them is J.k. Rowling. Harry Potter has always been one of my favourite series. I like the way she suggests that there are other worlds within our own. The stories are exciting as well as interesting. One of my other favourite authors is Sarah Dessen. Her stories are normally about teenage love  but I still find them enjoyable to read. One thing I really enjoy about her novels is that they all have different characters in them but they are all in the same town and things that are in other books are referenced. So it has some familiarity for fans but at the same time it is not confusing to new readers.

I have only re-read a couple of books. One of them is why we broke up by Daniel Handler. It is one of y favourite books mostly because I really enjoy the format the book is written in. I like that it is a letter that goes along with a box of things. In the letter the significance of every object is explained and how it relates to why they broke up. The other book that I have re read a couple times is Dear John by Nicholas Sparks.
I just really enjoy the story even though it is sad. It is one of those books that's fluff but is still enjoyable and heart wrenching.

I think that one of the ways that I decide which books to read is by what the cover of the book looks like. To me if it as an interesting cover I will be more likely to pick it up and start reading it. I think this is mostly because the cover is the first thing you see and the first thing that grabs your attention. The other thing that will make me more likely to read a book is If it has an interesting title. Most of the time it gives you an idea of what the the book will be about. I think with an interesting title it will r an interesting book and more often then not it is. But I still think that there are a lot of different ways to goose a book that are better then my way.

I have an iPhone that I use for everything all the time. It is my child. I never let it out of my sight. It comes with me everywhere. I also have an iPad that I use for searching things up on the Internet as well as reading in iBooks by downloading PDFs of the Internet. I also use it for Netflix. I normally e read on that. I do not e read on my iPhone because I think the screen is to small. I don't have twitter or a blog just because I haw never really found use for one but I wouldn't like to learn about both though.
